About 20 minutes after putting Eleni to bed, I heard this pitiful, sad cry. She had been up very, very late, so I had told her she couldn't get up until 9. I went in and she lamented,
"It's never going to be 9 o'clock, Mom! It's 12! And then it'll be 13! It'll never be 9!"
Poor thing thought she was going to be in her room forever. I had to actually change the clock to 1:00 for her to calm down.
