The Unsuspected (and Unsuspecting) Target of Her Affections

Eleni does not dole out kisses freely.

But tonight, Eleni decided to make Cledi the unsuspected target of her affections. She would jump over to the edge of the couch, jump to Cledi, give her a kiss, jump back to the edge of the couch again, and repeat the process. Poor Cledi, who doesn't always appreciate surprise kisses as much as Mom and Dad do, wasn't sure what to think.

Up until 2 months ago, Eleni hardly acknowledged Cledi. But now she cries every morning when Cledi leaves on the bus, waving "Buh-bye, Cledi." Today she was standing on a kitchen chair next to Cledi in her wheelchair, yelling "Hi, Cledi! Hi" and trying to get her attention.

And as of tonight, Cledi apparently gets all of the good kisses.
