Eleni's Royal Ball

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful and kind girl named Eleni. One day, she turned 3 and the king and queen decided to throw a party. By royal decree, all of Eleni's friends were invited to her Royal Ball.
On the morning of the ball, the queen awoke to Princess Eleni jumping up and down, exclaiming, "Oh, wow! Mommy, do you see the castle! Help! Help! Okay? Please, can I have it please?" (I wish I had a video of this.)

After a young princess' eternity, the time for the party at long last arrived. Upon entry of the Corson Castle, guests were ferried to the crown-decorating table by way of a magic carpet ride (the black blanket).

After filling their crowns with jewels, the guests put the kiss on the frog prince.
Though a lips stamp was used on the frog, Eleni insisted on kissing the frog on the lips following each contender's turn.At long last, the dancing began. The handsome Prince took Eleni and spun her around the dance floor......ending in Princess Eleni's ever so graceful dip. After expending so much energy on the dance floor, the royal guests were ready to sing to Eleni and dig into some cake, ice cream, and snacks. These were the little gift bags for the royal guests.Eleni got some amazing gifts. This is an American Girl Bitty Baby Doll from her Great Grandma Thornhill. Leni was absolutely fascinated with how the eyes close when the baby lays down. If only all kids were that easy to put to sleep, eh?And here was another fabulously fun gift from Grandma Corson. Eleni was obviously a fan.Princess Cledi decided she didn't care much for the Royal Ball, and spent most of the time in the bedroom. As you can tell from the picture, she was happier there.Prince Nash also ducked out early in the party for naptime. Here's the sleeping beauty right after he woke up (he still looks a little shell-shocked that there are so many people running around in his castle). His and Her Highness taking a few moments before cutting the cake. The queen couldn't bring herself to destroy the masterpiece, and made her husband do it.
